Our latest episode features a truly unique guest: Carolina Sophia Pedrazzi, a journalist whose work spans the Middle East, the United States, Italy, and France. Carolina’s storytelling is driven by deep on-the-ground experience, whether reporting from refugee camps, covering conflict zones, or exploring cultural narratives often overlooked in mainstream media.
Carolina studied at Sciences Po, lived in Beirut, and currently pursues a journalism degree from Columbia University. Her work has taken her from Hebron to Athens, covering displacement, conflict, and resilience in some of the world’s most complex regions.
In this conversation, we discuss her reportage from Palestine, where she documented life under occupation, including her striking photography of everyday moments in the West Bank. She shares her experiences reporting from Shatila refugee camp and her time in Hezbollah-controlled Beirut.
